This is VERY VERY cool. How can we get the app? We tried to search for it, and couldn’t find it
Run Android Market and search – “eye fi”
Or from G1 goto

i can’t seem to get this app to work for me. i have rooted my phone and am running the apps from an ext3 partition on my sd card. could that be the cause of my problems?
I have rooted phone too with ext2 partition on SD card and everything ok. (I don’t think that problem in ext3)
You can’t find program in market? or installation problem?
no i have the app installed and have found and entered my upload key but i cant get any pictures to show up on my phone. are there any additional wifi settings i need to mess with or do i need to disable the eye-fi manager software? i feel like there is probably some little thing i’m missing that’s preventing this from working but i’ve followed all the steps shown in the video.
1. G1 and SD card must connect to one AP
2. Disable (exit from) Eye-Fi manager!!!
-i have the PC with the Eye-Fi manager software off
-the card is configured to my home wifi router
-my G1 is connected to my home wifi router
still nothing. i have picasa web uploads enabled and those are still working without the eye-fi software running. does that have to be disabled for the android server to work? is there anyway to get the pics directly to the phone without having a router present?
Maybe should switch off picasa web uploads for testing. Or should wait more time for starting upload (1-5 minutes)
“is there anyway to get the pics directly to the phone without having a router present”
May be – yes:
1. You should have rooted G1
2. You should install wifi tethering program (http://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/) – which switch WiFi G1 to Ad Hoc access point.
3. You should buy new Eye-Fi SDHC Pro card (http://www.eye.fi/cards/pro.html) Which supports Wifi Ad Hoc.
I am a bit confused at this application. I have an eye-fi card I use in my digital SLR camera. Does this application require I have a second eye-fi card for my Android phone or is it just an added feature for the phone to be used with my already existing eye fi manager? I’m sorry that I don’t understand… I would really like to use this though!

No, you do not need to buy another Eye-Fi card. But you must decide who will take pictures Eye-Fi manager, or Eye-Fi Droid, respectively unnecessary to be deactivated. It is also necessary to register in the Eye-Fi Droid Upload Key

How do you switch which will take pictures? Manager or Droid. Where do you do that at?
“G1 and SD card must connect to one AP” Where and how do you do connect to one app?

Eye-Fi is indeed very useful. you do not need to physcially connect your digital camera to your pc whenver you want to transfer pictures. it is not yet available on our local stores so i might just have to wait a bit.
