If you have rooted Android, you can use wifi tethering soft (http://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/) and can use Android WiFi in ad-hoc mode, but I didn't test it mode, I don't have Eye-Fi Pro card.

thank you for making this software, I am planning on getting the Motorola Droid and I was searching for this kind of functionality with a smartphone. I would be inclined to pay for a pro version of this app that enables ad-hoc sharing, for my work I would pay up to $100 if it streamlined live photo uploading/blogging from events, just by write-protecting the files that needed to be sent and allowing some caption data to be added. thanks again, this is a great start.
