Hi,
I have a Samsung Moment (SPH-M900) with Sprint. (Quick note: I have the full unlimited plan.)

I’m using Eclaur.DD03, Kernel Ver; 2.6.29 Firmware ver; 2.1-Upgrade1.

The problem I am having is the Eye-Fi App just sits and stalls. No matter what I do. I have gotten it to work two to three times (that was just pure luck). I had my laptop turned off and wireless switch off. Disconnected all devices from network. Flashed my router and the only device with access was the eyefi app(phone) and card. The list goes on and on. It seems to work more if I let the photos upload to PC than close Eye-fi helper.

Help?

I use the Eye-Fi App with Eye-Fi Pro Card 4 GB, SD to CF adapter, Canon EOS 5D MKII, Canon EOS 1D MKIV, HTC Desire , Portable 3G Router Huawei E5830. It works great even with full Res. JPEGs.
Unfortunally the X2 cards doesn’t work with SD to CF adapters ! Why ?
I also recommend the Apps QuickShareMail and PhotoBeamPro.

A pro version of your app with:
- Picture edit (Crop, Levels, etc. in full size.)
- Iptc caption (batch ?)
- Mutiple share (email, ftp)
should be great.

I have ver 1.0.4 and I’m runing it on a Sprint EVO droid. Everything seems to work OK on the transfer of images as I take them and I see the thumbnail ok but when I click on the thumbnail I get a white box on the screen with no inmage.

Hi there,
I am quite interested in testing the Eye-Fi without the need of a Wireless Router. I have 2 Eye-Fi Pro Cards (Pro and X2 Pro), 2 rooted G1, and a few Canon cameras.

Is there anything that you need help with? I’ll be happy to collaborate or test.

Dear LeshaK

Thank you for your great work and all the effort you’ve put inside the software package. An ad hoc wireless connection from the Eye-Fi Pro to an Android mobile would be the best additional feature but wouldn’t it make more sense without rooting your mobile.

PdaNet software allows you to tether without rooting your device. There are also some strong reasons not to root your mobile. Example: All upcoming Samsung Galaxy S will have integrated Push email in the SocialHub. You root it! You lost it!

Just connect PdaNet with Eye-Fi Droid and the job is done without any hassle like rootingetc. Keep up the good work

I set this up on my SE X10, and it works perfectly fine! The speed was incredible too. The second the picture was taken, it already started uploading on my phone. GREAT WORK!!

If you have rooted android phone, you can upload photos on you android phone without wifi AP. I’m working on this feature.

Hi (I tried to send this feature request via the forum but I would have to register … )

Anyway here it is:
Can you add a feature so that we don’t need to have an access-point/router to backup our pictures from the camera to the droid phone ?

Example of usage: I’m walking in the street, taking pictures and they are automatically backed up on my phone.
Example of necessity: I get my camera stolen … I’ve lost a camera but not my souvenirs

Does it work ad Hoc or over W-Lan ?
Can it automaticaly send the files over 3G connection ? email ? ftp ?
Does it work with every file type ? (mov, mp4, wav, cr2, nef, etc…)
Can I edit the IPTC header of jpeg files ? (Caption, Headline, etc…)
Does it still works with very big files from 21 MP cameras ?
It is Possible to edit big Pictures with a Droid Phone ? (crop, level, white balance, sharpness)
